“Gourmet Hot Dog” fly-in!! First Saturday Each Month

Thinking of somewhere to go for a fly on a Saturday? Everyone is invited to come along for a “Gourmet Hot Dog” at the Kyneton Aero Club. Held on the first Saturday of each month (excluding June, July and August – just too cold).
Between 12 – 1 pm the members of the club will be selling “Gourmet Dogs”, Cake and drinks for those that wish to drop in.

So make a day of it and come along and meet fellow aviators, enthusiasts or catch up with friends.

All proceeds from this event are donated to the RMH Neuroscience Foundation.

    James Boyle, Victorian Senior Pilot, Skydive Australia, will provide a presentation on Skydiving Operations in Victoria; James will cover:
    - Locations of skydiving operations around Victoria
    - Aircraft types and performance
    - Where/when to expect parachutes
    - Radio calls to expect during parachute operations
    - How to work in best with parachute operations
    - Common conflict hot spots
    - Questions and feedback
    Following James' presentation supper will be provided. Guests are most welcome to attend this Kyneton Aero Club hosted event.

    Jono McAliece from The Gliding Club of Victoria will provide a presentation on general operations at gliding airfields, understanding how gliding operations work, where they operate on the airfield and how they come back to the airfield to land, and, of greatest interest to us - how we GA pilots can fit in confidently and comfortably with all that’s going on at those airfields.
    Guests are welcome and a light supper will be served after the presentation.

    The Kyneton Aero Club is extremely pleased to again be hosting a Cancer Council "Australia's Biggest Morning Tea" Fly-in.
    As in previous years there will be a large number of aircraft on display, including several classic and vintage types, and plenty of Tea, Coffee and Yummy Food.
    We hope you will join us for a great family day out in support of this very worthwhile cause.

    The Kyneton Aero Club is pleased to advise it is again teaming with CASA to present the latest CASA AvSafety Seminar: “Communication – Be Heard AND Understood” Light refreshments will be served before the event at 1800, with the seminar starting at 1830, and afterwards a light supper and a chance to network with fellow aviators and aviation enthusiasts.
